My name is Amy Kikkert and I'm a makeup and special effects artist based in Vancouver, B.C. I am the third place winner of the IMATS Vancouver 2015 Battle of the Brushes Character/Prosthetics category. I graduated from John Casablancas Institute of Applied Arts with a diploma in Makeup Artistry. I also graduted from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a certificate of Foundations in Design. 

 

I work mainly in the motion picture industry as well as on editorial photoshoots and with private clients. I'm always looking for more opportunities to bring my professionalism, artistry and passion into the industry.

 

Other than special effects, I also provide beauty makeup and hair services such as; bridal, prom, airbrushing, tattoo coverups, eyebrow shaping, day and evening makeup, and personalized makeup and skincare advice.

 

I also do makeup for special events including airbrush tattoos for parties, halloween makeup, group makeup lessons, body painting/makeup for entertainment companies, and volunteer work for charity events.
